Equest also offers a Junior Camp Counselor program during the summer and holiday camp sessions. The JCC program is offered to current riding school students, ages 12+. JCC’s are responsible, under the direction of the Camp Director, to work a daily structured program which supports our camp activities. This includes grooming, tacking, basic horsemanship, games, mentorship for younger campers, and providing assistance to instructors and riders before, during, and after lessons. Many of our JCC’s have moved on to become counselors and even participate in our Working Student Program. Please inquire in the office if interested in becoming a Junior Camp Counselor.
